Cat: The Fergs (Fergal McCatterson)

Owner: Catherine

Appearance: A

The Fergs is a very handsome cat. Orange, but of a deeper peach than your average ginger, with orange eyes. Some people are freaked out by his massive double cat hand paws - but I think they’re cute. He also has an extra long tail that comes all the way over his back into his face when he’s happy.

Sociability: A

The Fergs loves everyone. He has no boundaries. Bald contractor sitting in my dining room working on a quote? Your head gets a thorough cleaning. Hate cats? He’s gonna be on your lap. First time visitor? Hope you’re not wearing jeans or he’ll climb you like a ladder. Just be grateful he’s not sitting on your head. He really likes sitting on peoples heads. I call him the cat hat.

Usefulness: D

He’s very useful if your head or lap is cold. Of if you need to thin out your kitchen herb garden. Other than that? Not so much.

Huggability: A

He loves to be held. And hugged. If you’re on the couch, there’s a good chance he’ll sit on your chest with his paws around your neck like a living Snuggie. He also enjoys a good baby rockin’ or shoulder ride.

Overall Grade: B+
